The varied coloured dot work depict the Bush Berries in each development state. Red/orange colouring depicts the bush berries during the stages of cooking. The Blueish/purple coloured dots depict the Berries in their raw state.The women have been out after the rain, collecting the berries, when they are most abundant. This contemporary piece communicates the Bush Berry Dreaming associated with Josie’s country with design elements associated with Women’s Awelye (ceremony/dancing) and Women’s Dreamings.
