Description:This painting depicts a desert Bush Fire sweeping through the country. The gap through the painting depicts a large baron sand hill. The custodians of this dreaming are the Tjangala and Tjampitjinpa's, the Tjapaltjarri are the guardian of this particular dreaming and they are responsible for body painting and overall making sure this ceremony is carried out correctly. This ceremony takes place the night before a controlled " bush fire " is lit and show us where the Tjampitjinpa’s and the Tjangalas have lit the fire.

Ronnie Tjampitjinpa is possible Australia’s leading living Aboriginal Artists, he was born at Muyinnga 100km west of the Kintore Ranges. Ronnie began painting at the beginning of the Papunya artistic movement around and in 1988 won the Alice Springs Art Prize. His works follow the Pintupi style, which depicts dreamtime and the landscape by joining together strong circles with connecting lines. Ronnie has exhibited extensively throughout the world and is included n all major aboriginal art collections. Ronnie resides with his family at Kintore, an aboriginal community that was established in 1981.
