| This Dreaming depicts the sacred site of Angar (Thorny Devil Lizard), in the vicinity of Mosquito Bore, Utopia. This is the home of the Thorny Devil Ancestor and it is here that the Inangara men and women separately conduct imporant sacred/secret initiation ceremonies. These works are created with the applicationn of the end tips of the finest sticks, once dipped into paints these tips are delicated placed through out the work resulting in a multi dimensional work of outstanding visual qualities. These works also appear representational of the country throughout the Utopia Region. |
