| Description: | This painting depicts designs associated with the site of Kaakuratintjia (Lake MacDonald). In mythological times a large group of Tingari Men, both young and old travelled to this site from the west. A fierce hailstorm occurred which killed them all. In conversations with Willie, he also relates this story to the significant presence of Sandhills throughout this area and therefore, many works depicted in this style are also titled as Sandhills. |
