Dolly Mills is widely recognised as one of Utopia’s leading Aboriginal artists and her work is held in major Australian and international collections.
The delicate patterning and subtle colours of Dolly's work depicts the Yam Dreaming of her country of Alhalkere, situated in the Utopia region 270kms north east of Alice Springs.
She participated in the Utopia, A Picture Story exhibition which included 88 silk batiks from the Robert Holmes a Court collection.
